Dianna Wiles
Area Director
Dianna has been the director of Curry County since September 2009. As area director, she manages operations and provides leadership to program directors and direct support professionals, and develops and maintains relationships with individuals, families, guardians, case managers and referral agencies. Dianna draws upon her extensive experience to ensure that the services in her area meet the highest standards of quality.
Prior to joining MENTOR Oregon, Dianna was a house manager with Coos Curry Transitional Homes. She oversaw a 10-bedroom home for 15 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Before becoming a house manager, she spent time as a vocational program manager and direct care staff member. She says that, within her first three weeks of working with adults with intensive medical needs, she knew that she was living her mission.
Dianna is a Behavior Support Specialist and certified as a trainer in Oregon Interventions Systems, Positive Behavior Supports, and First Aid/CPR instructor.
“We teach and honor choice in all aspects of life. We assist individuals in being an active part of their community and to develop relationships. We focus on what is most important to the individual and assist them in becoming more independent while also ensuring that they are healthy and safe.”
