Tammorra Barnes
Regional Director
Tammorra joined the MENTOR Oregon team in 2012 as Regional Director for Northern Oregon. She is responsible for overseeing all operations for Brokerage Services, Group Homes, Alternative to Employment programs, Brain Injury & Mental Health programs, Children’s Host Home and Supported Living services accross her region.
With 20 years of professional experience in the human services industry, she has held positions as a child foster care certifier for Albertina Kerr Centers—where she lead their recruitment and foster care certification process—and a brokerage eligibility specialist and program development specialist for Multnomah County. Her career began in 1994 as a case manager supervisor for the Urban League of Portland, a non-profit organization.
Tammorra strives to embrace challenges and seek opportunities, and has leveraged her specialized skills to become a driving member of MENTOR Oregon. She is currently attending Warner Pacific College to earn a bachelor’s degree in social work and has been awarded certificates as state child foster care certifier and a professional office administrator. She also remains involved in the community as a member of the Oregon Rehabilitation Association, the African American Health Coalition, and the Victims’ Rights Advocate City of Portland.
