Harry Taylor

Senior Director of Business Development

Harry-Taylor(1)As the senior director of business development, Harry leads a statewide multi-disciplinary team responsible for the development of new business for MENTOR Oregon.  His passion for helping others has led to the development of numerous programs and fuels his continued commitment to find new and better ways to serve individuals and their families throughout the state.

Harry joined The MENTOR Network in 2000 and spent five years as California MENTOR’s director of training & program development.  In that role, he was responsible for planning, developing and presenting training courses on topics ranging from leadership to caregiving.

Prior to joining California MENTOR, Harry spent five years as the director of the community resource group for the Regional Center of Orange County.  He was also the owner/president of a company that specialized in corporate communications programs for service-oriented enterprises, and the manager of resource planning for a developmental disabilities center.

Harry has a bachelor’s degree in history from Cal Poly Pomona, and a master’s degree in public administration from Cal State Long Beach.  He also has a number of community and professional affiliations, including those with the American Society for Training and Development, and the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
