Robin Jacome

Business Director

Robin-JacomeAs the business director for MENTOR Oregon, Robin oversees all of the organization’s financial functions and is committed to instilling business practices that positively affect the individuals and families that we serve.  Since joining the team through an acquisition in 1997, Robin has held several positions, including accounting manager and division business director, a role in which she supported the financial functions of seven states in The MENTOR Network.

Prior to 1997, Robin served as an assistant controller for Cole Vocational Services and First Step Independent Living in California, organizations that ultimately partnered with The MENTOR Network.  As the assistant controller, Robin oversaw an accounting team that was responsible for all accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and cost reporting.  When The MENTOR Network acquired these organizations in 1997, Robin integrated the financial reporting and assisted with training on key metrics for day programs, which was a new service line for The MENTOR Network.  She headed a similar project in 1998, when The MENTOR Network acquired Unlimited Quest.

With more than two decades of experience in human services, Robin’s achievements have helped MENTOR Oregon to new individuals every day.  Robin has a degree in Legal Secretarial Certification from Barclay College, and has also taken courses in Business Law and Accounting.

“MENTOR Oregon transforms the lives of individuals throughout our state.  It’s an honor to be part of something that involves helping people live better lives.  Our work touches so many people, and that is what drives us to work hard and succeed.”
